SOLO EXHIBITION
Le sourcier
Carol Bernier presents Le Sourcier at Galerie Simon Blais.
"Intimate and immediate, this bodily relationship with color gives rise in Carol Bernier's exhibition Le Sourcier to a sensual plastic exploration that echoes the painted work of Jean McEwen (1923-1999)."
Excerpt from Isabelle Masse's text, Voir avec les mains, toucher avec les yeux, the exhibition catalog.

SOLO EXHIBITION
Voir l'islande at the Vieux Presbytère in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville
Carol Bernier: Voir l’Islande is at once a wish, a dream, an image and a fantasy. I'll go there one day. In the meantime, I can invent an unusual land. The journey is not the goal and the canvas is not the end. I simply strive to cultivate a close link between my vital energy and the trace I leave on canvas.
